In the month of May, Stanley was a "VIP Guest" at the Fourth Annual G.I. Film Festival in Washington, DC.
Stanley and his grandson, Maurice Harris (on left), met actor/director/producer Ricky Shroder, who received an award at the festival.
On display at the festival were some examples of US Army combat rations, samples of which were found to be surprisingly tasty.
